Cookie Policy

How the OGRoute website and swap interface use cookies and similar technologies, and how to manage your choices.

1.About This Policy

This Cookie Policy explains cookies and similar technologies in connection with the OGRoute website and swap interface, and how visitors can manage their choices. It should be read with our Privacy Policy, which explains how personal data is handled and identifies the provider of the Services.

This policy concerns information stored on or accessed from a visitor’s device. Server-side API logs and other processing that does not involve such device storage or access are addressed in our Privacy Policy.

2.Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small files that a website places on your device. They can help a website recognize a browser or remember information between visits. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage and tracking pixels. The same privacy considerations may apply to these technologies even when they are not called cookies.

First-party technologies are set by the website you visit. Third-party technologies are set by another provider, for example through an embedded service. Information associated with these technologies may be personal data when it identifies you or can be linked to you.

3.Purposes and Categories

The categories below explain common purposes. Their inclusion does not mean that OGRoute uses every category. The technologies used depend on the features and third-party services enabled on the website.

Strictly necessary technologies support a service you request, such as maintaining a session, protecting access or recording a cookie choice. Whether a technology is exempt from consent depends on its actual purpose and applicable law.

Preference technologies can remember choices such as display settings or language. Analytics technologies can measure visits, feature use and errors. Third-party media or marketing technologies can support embedded content or advertising measurement. Where these technologies require consent, they must remain inactive until that consent is given.

4.Duration

Session cookies normally expire when the browser session ends. Persistent cookies remain until their expiry date or until you delete them. Local storage may remain until it is cleared by the website or through your browser settings.

The duration varies by technology and provider. Where a cookie preference interface is provided, its accompanying information should identify the technologies, providers, purposes and durations relevant to the website.

5.Managing Your Choices

Where consent is required, optional technologies are used only after you give consent. Continuing to browse does not, by itself, constitute that consent. Refusing optional technologies should not prevent access to features that do not depend on them.

Where OGRoute provides cookie controls, you can use them to accept or reject optional categories and change or withdraw your choices. Withdrawal applies to future use and does not affect processing lawfully carried out before withdrawal.

You can also use your browser settings to block or delete cookies and clear website storage. Blocking necessary technologies may affect functionality. Deleting a stored cookie choice may cause you to be asked for your preferences again. Browser controls may not manage every type of similar technology.

6.Third Party Services

External websites, wallet services and other independently operated services have their own privacy and cookie practices. Opening an external link is different from allowing an embedded provider to access information on the OGRoute website. Where an embedded service requires consent, it must not set or access optional technologies before that consent.

Business integrators are responsible for the cookies and similar technologies used in their own interfaces, including their own notices and consent controls. Using the OGRoute API does not replace those responsibilities.

7.Policy Updates

We may update this policy when the website, technologies or applicable requirements change. The last updated date identifies the current version. Where a new purpose requires consent, a policy update alone does not provide that consent.
