Important limitations and risks associated with OGRoute's website, swap interface, routing API and related information.

Last updated:

1.Scope

This Disclaimer explains important limitations and risks associated with OGRoute’s website, swap interface, routing API and related information. It applies to individual users and businesses integrating OGRoute. Read it together with our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

2.No Financial Advice

OGRoute provides technology for assessing swap routes across connected liquidity. Website content, quotes, route displays and demonstrations are not investment, financial, legal or tax advice. A supported asset, connected DEX protocol or returned route is not a recommendation to trade or an endorsement of its safety or value.

You must assess whether a transaction is suitable for your circumstances. Obtain independent professional advice where needed.

3.Quotes and Routing Limitations

A quote reflects available information at the time of the request. Prices, liquidity, network fees and other conditions can change before confirmation. The final amount received may differ from the displayed quote.

OGRoute considers supported and connected liquidity sources. It does not guarantee coverage of every DEX protocol, the best result across the entire market, or a route for every request. A route or quote alone does not complete a transaction. Support for multiple networks does not, by itself, mean that cross-chain swaps are available.

4.Transaction and Digital Asset Risks

Digital assets may lose some or all of their value. Slippage, price impact, transaction ordering, malicious tokens, smart contract defects, security incidents and network disruptions can cause losses or unsuccessful transactions. Transactions may fail, revert, expire or be delayed, and network charges may apply even when a transaction fails.

Before signing, review the network, token addresses, amount, recipient, approvals, minimum output where shown, slippage and fees. Confirmed blockchain transactions generally cannot be reversed through OGRoute. Disconnecting a wallet does not revoke existing token approvals. Never disclose a private key or seed phrase to support or include one in an API request.

5.Third Party Dependencies

Wallets, DEX protocols, blockchain networks and other independent providers operate under their own terms and technical arrangements. Their availability, security and performance can affect a swap. A link or integration does not guarantee their reliability. Review relevant third-party terms and risks before use.

6.Benchmarks and Performance Statements

Benchmarks and historical results describe the tested conditions and methodology, rather than a guarantee of future performance. Read any comparison with its accompanying sample, date, network coverage and exclusions.

A quote comparison does not establish the outcome of completed trades. Unless expressly measured and disclosed, it does not account for execution costs, final settlement or revert rates. Better quoted output does not, by itself, establish lower failure rates. Statements about reduced reverts do not guarantee that a transaction will succeed.

7.Business Integrations

Businesses must test integrations, handle errors and present quotes and transaction parameters accurately. They remain responsible for their own interfaces, user disclosures, support and applicable legal obligations. API access does not create an uptime, response-time or execution guarantee unless expressly agreed in writing.
